The Half Moon has been at the heart of the local SW London community, as well as a pioneer in live music in London, for over 100 years. Matty, who works in the music team (you may have seen him taking tickets at a gig) is taking on the London Marathon in April 2025 to raise much needed funds for the children's charity, Wooden Spoon. The charity provides children with disabilities the opportunities and the facilities to get involved with sport. This Matty's first marathon attempt - keep an eye on our social media for updates on his progress. Any donation is greatly appreciated.

Wooden Spoon is the children’s charity of rugby, and are a grant-making charity and fund life-changing projects across the UK & Ireland. We have a national footprint, but the largest part of our income is raised by local volunteers. Our aim is that every penny that our volunteers raise is spent in their local communities.

We are asking you, our local community, to come together, and help us change young peoples lives through charity.
