Latin Quarter, formed in 1983, are best known for their hit single Radio Africa and album ‘Modern Times, an album that was described by the New York Daily Post as ‘the best electro-pop album ever to come out got the UK.’ In that time they made 5 albums before splitting up in 1999.

However, they reformed in 2012 and have since made 5 new albums and a 6th, a live recording of their last appearance at the Half Moon in 2018, will be available in 2023. Three of the original members, Steve Skaith, Steve Jeffries and Richard Wright will be performing alongside singer Mary Carewe, legendary drummer Martin Ditcham and ace South African bassist Yo Yo Buys.
