Benjamin David is a 25-year-old singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from London, UK. He draws upon such diverse influences as Prince, David Bowie, Kendrick Lamar and Gojira.

David was a quiet kid who used to pace around the garden inventing fantasy worlds and characters. He started writing songs at age 11, developing a story-telling lyric style. At 16 he attended the Brit School where he discovered a love for genre-mashing and began crafting his stage persona, a mysterious narrator who would tell the stories of the characters in his songs.

His soon-to-be-released debut album is a collaboration with Grammy Award-winning producer Kipper. David, following the death of his father and amidst global political changes, tries to capture a snapshot of what it means to be young in a world full of uncertainty. The record encapsulates David’s ‘hard soul’ live sound, a sound he came up with when he accidentally blasted D’Angelo and Rage Against The Machine at the same time over two different sound systems.

The band grew from Matty's love for 60's psychedelia, including Hendrix, The Beatles and The Doors - resonating with Gommo, bringing a funky Red Hot Chili Pepper style to the group. Forming as a 3 piece in 2018, Matty, Gommo and Rhod recruited George Matthews in 2020. Having released 4 singles, the band explore the vibes of summer romances and parties within 'LaLaLa', 'Sunshine Love', 'Pretty Daze', 'Ruby Funk'.
