Line Up

Hi! I'm Daniel and I sing and play guitar in Green Queen. We are a noisy, grungy, garagey, slacker, queer-centric, friendly 3 piece rock band with songs about love, addiction, identity, pain and joy.

We've been together a few years and we enjoy and love playing our music, we hope you enjoy it, too. Our influences range from the usuals: Nirvana, Mudhoney, Hole, Sonic Youth, The Beatles, Jesus and Mary Chain, PJ Harvey, Sebadoh, The Kinks, Thee Oh Sees, The Amps, Depeche Mode and so on.

We also enjoy many other things and do other stuff and listen to much other music besides the few bands I have listed...

Kyle Chatham is a Scottish Singer-Songwriter whose ethereal dark folk floats in space with no plan to return. Combining elements of bedroom pop and shoegaze with alt-rock and ambient soundscapes, Kyle creates timeless and sincere music.
“He has found his footing in creating a mood for the music that feels completely genuine.”
Kyle writes tranquil melodies with sombre yet profound lyrics. His music is influenced by the exploration of ideas grounded in classical existentialist philosophy. There is a melancholy to his music that reflects the true beauty and sadness of life. The roots of this can be seen in his musical inspirations including Nick Drake, Ben Howard, Arthur Russell and Chris Cornell.
Kyle’s musical history started on a drum kit when he was five years old. School bands and local jam sessions followed, and when Kyle picked up the guitar aged 11, his early musical education consisted of basic singer-songwriter-capo-Ed Sheeran-style and heavy doses of 90s alternative rock like Pearl Jam and Soundgarden.
After completing a degree in Sound Production, Kyle started to produce his own music, branching out into other genres like modern pop folk, electoric, hip hop, jazz and shoegaze. His creative style is balanced by his vast knowledge of technical music theory. Kyle made the finals for Ivor's Scholarship - a full scholarship for songwriters - during which he wrote, recorded and released his debut album Neon Spring.

Alex Seel is a contemporary singer-songwriter and guitarist with "influences from blues, pop and the British Folk Revival guitarists but a sound all his own" (Twickfolk).

Music has led Alex Seel from Devon to London to Ireland and back to London again. Through his wanderings, Alex has picked up a beautifully crafted, rootsy song-writing style with thought-provoking lyrics and finger-picked acoustic guitar trait. A contemporary twist on the British folksinger/guitarist, he has a growing reputation as a solo performer, having performed around the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany and Spain (see live dates here).

Alex's latest release is the album “All Sails To The Sun” 29 Sept 2023.

“Absolutely outstanding!” - Frank Hennessy - Celtic Heartbeat - BBC Wales

“Brilliant, and I mean the word brilliant, new album” - Steve Clarke - Strange Brew

“Superb album” - From Albion and Beyond - kuar.org - Arkansa, US

“Across All Sails To The Sun, Seel gives voice to both his folk and rock influences to equal effect - blending them into his own personal musical expression…these heavily textured rock arrangements beautifully counterpoint the more traditional and folk-based songs. The contrast in tone heightens each style's effectiveness” ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ - RNR Magazine

With now officially 3 albums and 2 EPs released, Seel has built a slow but steady following that has earned him respect from a growing number of folk clubs, radio play and interest from abroad. He has supported Graham Parker and Clive Carrol amongst many others.

Previous touring collaborations have included The Songwriter's Circle Tour (www.circletour.co.uk), organised with singer-songwriter Greg Hancock, and as a duo with virtuoso instrumentalist Jon Sanders.

Adriana's diverse musical taste spans across various genres, from soulful ballads to energetic pop punk anthems. Drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as Bjork, Spice Girls, and Lana Del Rey, she has developed a unique sound that captivates listeners and leaves them wanting more.

Adriana styled Girl Power and a debut album coming latter in 2024.
