Line Up

They Call Me Max is a project centred around compositions, intimate lyrical narratives and groove-ridden beats. Currently consisting of 4 permanent members, the music sits somewhere between Jazz, Classical and Hip-Hop. The project is all about movement, process and musical progression.

Lauren is a neo soul and jazz inspired singer hailing from the East Midlands. Her music is influenced by the likes of Erykah Badu, Jorja Smith, Lauryn Hill and Lianne La Havas and has garnered support both at home in the midlands and London. She has had radio play from BBC Introducing, has played festivals such as Dot to Dot and supported artists such as Emily Burns on tour dates. After releasing some catchy singles over the past couple of years she is working on a follow up EP to her debut project "Crush", which will feature some classically soulful but modern songs she's written about her journey over the past couple of years and her development as an artist.

Imogen is a singer-songwriter who captures the attention of her audiences with passionate vocals and memorable tunes. Imogen’s music spans genres from Indie Pop and Soul to Folk, evoking a young Joni Mitchell in her lyrics, and also influenced by Carol King and Olivia Dean. Her music has been supported by BBC Introducing and is currently recording her debut album. “It takes a lot of work to make music sound this effortless. Imogen is certainly one to watch. She’s bringing something really fresh to the pop world.” - York Calling on Imogen Halsey

Luke White is a singer-songwriter whose guitar-based music and heartfelt words mirror his influences Dermot Kennedy, Ben Howard, Tracy Chapman, Damien Rice,James Blunt, and Lewis Capaldi.

Luke surprisingly started as a blues and rock guitarist and transferred to the songwriting world at 16! After getting a break-up message, he thought he'd try to write a song which he now describes as "wet and sad"...he never looked back. He has been writing and releasing music since 2018, has gigged all over the UK playing his shows, and has supported artists such as Billy Lockett and Newton Faulkner.

Luke has had support from radio stations such as BBC Introducing and Soho Radio. Luke also enjoys writing for other artists and sync. For example, he worked on a folk project with Universal's major label. He has multiple plans for releasing over the course of 2023, Including an EP, and Can't wait for everyone to hear them!

Izzy Siddall is a 20- year old singer/songwriter from Sutton, South London. When she was 16, she started her YouTube channel ‘IZZY SIDDALL MUSIC’ , posting a new cover every Friday which she devotedly continued for 3 years until she was 19, building up a fantastic fan base across her social media platforms. Last year, Izzy spent most of her time as a full time busker- singing in the streets of her home town- Sutton; wowing the public with her acoustic pop covers. As well as this, Izzy started performing at weekly open mic nights where she remained a loyal performer at the iconic ‘Ram Jam Records’ open mic in Kingston. More recently, Izzy took a break from busking/ open mic nights and has spent the majority of last year and this year in the studio with her producer Alan Smith. Izzy has been co- writing new original songs with Alan for her upcoming EP. This isn’t Izzy’s first time performing at ‘The Half Moon’. Izzy sold out the place on Monday the 12th of September last year at her very first gig which went very successfully. As well as performing at this iconic venue, Izzy has also made her debut at ‘The Bedford’ in Balham on the 2nd of May this year. Izzy is entertaining, funny and sings upbeat, emotional songs which will capture your hearts and also make you want to dance along! She’ll even make the crowd get involved ha! You won’t want to miss Izzy’s second performance here at ‘The Half Moon’. Her song ‘Come + Go’ was played on BBC radio Sussex and Surrey introducing ‘track of the day’
