Gits and Shiggles is one of London's best comedy nights, organising events throughout the capital as well as their residency at The Half Moon, Putney.
Headlining the show with an extended set, we have the incredible Andy Zaltzman. Host of BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz and the hugely popular satirical podcast The Bugle, Andy is also the reigning champion of Taskmaster Series 18 and the BBC’s resident cricket statistician on Test Match Special. A veteran of the Edinburgh Fringe and one of the country’s most distinctive political comedians, Andy has toured his brilliantly inventive satire around the world. Described as “probably the best satirical comic we’ve produced in the last two decades” (Time Out), we’re delighted to have him performing an extended headline set.
Joining him is the brilliant Ria Lina. You’ll know her from appearances on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News for You, QI, Mock the Week and The Last Leg, as well as her regular appearances as co-host of Pointless. A comedian, writer and actor with a PhD in virology, Ria combines razor-sharp comedy with a scientific mind and has been named one of the Evening Standard’s “Hottest Comedians You Should Be Watching Now”. She is “fearless, provocative and very funny” (The Scotsman).

One of the UK's finest political satirists, Andy Zaltzman is the host of the critically acclaimed The Bugle podcast - one of his frequent collaborations with John Oliver, which also include the BBC Radio series Political Animal and The Department.
A writer for Rory Bremner, he has also appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats, John Oliver's New York Stand Up Show, Russell Howard's Good News, Dave's One Night Stand, Unspun with Matt Forde and Stewart Lee's Alternative Comedy Experience, as well as being heard on BBC Radio's The Now Show and The News Quiz.
He has been internationally touring his acclaimed show Satirist for Hire since 2014.
