Filip Clements describes his debut album Soft Apocalypse as a universe. CONN13 is a Multi-Genre artist hailing from London . With a love for soul, jazz, blues and reggae ,inspired by legends like Amy Winehouse, Etta James, and Nina Simone, her music is heartfelt, unpredictable, and unapologetically her own.

At just 21, she’s already lit up stages at The Half Moon Putney, The Boileroom, The Hackney Social, and Upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s— recently selling out her headline show at Tram and Social in Tooting , independently with her Momager “Lulu” by her side

Singing since she was 3 and writing songs since 5, CONN13’s lyrics hit where it matters, tackling everything from injustice (“Women’s Freestyle”) to heartbreak and trauma (“Tied to You”).

When she’s not performing across London, she’s busy turning life’s ups and downs—and the characters she meets along the way—into songs that make you think, feel, and maybe even dance.

Samuel Taylor’s music career started when he was in his teens as the front man and co-songwriter of Sheffield band Dead like Harry.

In 2012 Samuel recorded his debut EP ‘Some Nobody to Me’ in the basement studio of a house in Stoke Newington with producers Luke Potashnick and Damon Wilson. The EP demonstrated his songwriting craft, with his thoughtful lyrics and his strong command of melody.

After touring the UK throughout 2013 (playing over 60 shows) ‘Some Nobody to Me’ received BBC Radio 2 support from Steve Lamacq and Graham Norton. The single was also playlisted on 14 regional stations. In 2014 Samuel headed into the studio with Jodie Marie to start work on a new musical partnership. Taylor and Marie released their debut EP ‘Tilt the Moon’ on Aug 25th and have already received support from BBC Radio 2 as well as being chosen as Artist of the Week on BBC Radio Wales.

In 2015 Samuel has set out on an international journey recording a series of new EP’s as he travels from town to town . There will be more news to come on this throughout the year…
