Line Up

Ben Weston is a UK alternative rock songwriter whose music sits somewhere between melodic indie and heavier guitar-driven rock. Drawing on influences like Jimmy Eat World, Athlete and Foo Fighters, his songs balance intimate verses with expansive, cinematic choruses.

He started recording on cassette machines as a kid and never really stopped — moving from bedroom experiments to sharing stages with artists including Damon Albarn and Roger Hodgson. His latest single Paper Wings leans into atmosphere and restraint before opening into a widescreen chorus, reflecting a songwriting style that favours storytelling over spectacle.

Raised in small village just outside of Paris, Fisher grew up in a family of craftsmen - her Australian-born mother and father are a potter and illustrator respectively, while her sister is a weaver. After dropping out of art-school in her late teens, Fisher holed up in her bedroom and recorded her first experiments in music on a four-track recorder, fuelled by a love of Bob Dylan, Jeff Buckley and Leonard Cohen. Held back by a sense that sharing her songs with the world was "irrelevant and indulgent", the fiercely self-protective Fisher bounced between France, Australia and the UK for most of her young life, playing residencies in Parisian bars and waitressing to pay the bills. Fisher dropped the strident debut Delivery in 2015, a record with a three-year-long gestation period and a title to match. A summation of a decade’s worth of bedroom songwriting, it was a musical catharsis that’s now given way to lighter and more positive horizons in her songwriting. Hero forthcoming album Glue Moon is thematically cohesive, atmospheric dramatics are rooted in a world drawn from musical heroes as much as literary ones. She namechecks Frank Zappa as a big inspiration alongside Paul Giovanni’s soundtrack to the 19723 film The Wickerman , Black Sabbath, John Frusciante and Moomin-creator Tove Jansson’s novel The Summer Book. “The delicacy, rawness and spontaneity of Nick Cave’s Push The Sky Away also really charmed me,”

Alex Kate is a singer, songwriter, and producer crafting nostalgic pop with a raw emotional core. Her music has been described as “unforgettable, anthemic, and brutally honest,” resonating with listeners through its vulnerability and authenticity. Drawing inspiration from her personal experiences with love—both its highs and heartbreaks—Alex uses songwriting as a kind of open diary, offering her reflections as a cathartic embrace for anyone navigating similar emotions. Her track Lost Soldier was reimagined in a powerful collaboration with rising UK rapper MOBI1, aimed at raising awareness about men’s mental health. “It’s a warcry to help fight the inner battles of the guys I’ve come across,” Alex explains. “I’ve long been aware of the high statistics around male suicide, but the reality hit hard when I lost a friend who was silently struggling.” In 2023, Alex earned a spot on the Long List for the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition, a nod to her growing recognition in the UK music scene. Her music has received strong support from BBC Introducing and other radio platforms, with comparisons drawn to iconic artists like Kate Bush. Recently, Alex headlined a sold-out show at London’s legendary Camden Club, debuting her upcoming album alongside her band and producer Mitch Parks (credits: Ed Sheeran, Lennon Stella). Looking ahead, she’s gearing up for a vibrant summer of festival performances and a whimsical van busking tour across the UK and Europe—bringing her heartfelt sound to the streets and stages alike.
