Fresh off their most recent tour, Sam and Jack aren’t slowing down and are traversing the United Kingdom from stem to stern, starting in Brighton and heading all the way up to Glasgow, ready to put on a ripping show with some local talent.

Line Up

Rock band Atticus Chimps hails from the Gold Coast in Australia. Atticus Chimps has created their own niche in the rock music genre with a style that combines hard-driving guitar riffs, catchy melodies and moving lyrics. The band has developed a sound that is both unique and well-known, with an uncontrollable amount of raw energy. They drew inspiration from a diverse spectrum of musical influences, namely Alternative Rock bands from the '90s and '00s.

The band consists of members Sam Bray (songwriter, guitar/bass & vocals) and Jack Merriman (drums). Forming in early 2016, Atticus Chimps have released an album, toured Australia on multiple occasions and supported renowned acts such as Eskimo Joe, Strung Out, Boom Crash Opera, Cog, Ash, You Am I, Butterfingers and The Chats

Bristol’s Nuns of the Tundra have exploded on to the UK music scene with their modern alternative rock racking up more than 2 million Spotify streams and selling out on vinyl. Armed with fuzz-drenched tones and towering choruses, Nuns released an album that smashed into Seven placements across the UK's official charts, reaching No.3 in Rock and Metal.

“They put on a fantastic show” - Abbie McCarthy, Radio 1 Host

OWES hail from Hemel Hempstead, UK. Formed and thwarted almost immediately in the haze of 2020 they found themselves confined to isolation and a completely remote means of creating.

A flurry of songs emerged and a series of demos known as “source DEMOgraphics” was released on SoundCloud soon after. Over time their live shows have exhibited a concoction of grunge, electronic, punk and pop delivered with a restrained fury and a degree of mysticism. The wheels seem to be coming off at any given moment but the vehicle always just about remains intact.

Their debut EP, “ ” was released in the summer of 2023, accompanied by the single “ ”, which has become a stalwart in their live performances. After a period of convalescence they released the single “ ” with very little by way of introduction in September 2024.

As we approach and cross five years of OWES, the time elapsed since formation and the urgency to take their craft to the next level is not lost on them. With the five year mark being on 13/02/2025, they played a set jam packed with songs old and new at London’s Signature Brew, Haggerston. This also saw in their latest single, “ ”, which was released on Valentine’s Day.

“I think they’re really good”. - Dàvid Mincér, August 2024

“One of the UK indie scene’s most intriguing prospects” . - Happy Mag, February 2025
