Line Up

Calea is a Swiss singer, songwriter, and producer known for her emotionally rich lyrics and modern, genre-blending sound.

Her music explores vulnerability and strength with a sharp lyrical edge and bold production. She is one of the most interesting newcomers on stage. She captivates with a powerful presence and raw vocal energy. With a background in Audio Engineering and a strong creative vision, Calea crafts songs that connect on a deeply human level—authentic, fearless, and sonically fresh.

Her debut EP Don't Let Them Know is a concept project inspired by Kübler-Ross’s “7 Stages of Grief.” Each track represents an emotional phase—from denial and anger to acceptance.

With her 2025 EP “Resonate”, Calea introduces a bold new sound—sonically more daring, rhythmically driven, and emotionally unfiltered. The shift marks a new chapter in her artistry, where she also expresses herself completely different live & gradually gaining recognition for its innovation and depth.

Ranging from the mellow sparsity of Nick’s piano/vocal serenades to full band performances which incorporate elements of blues and progressive rock, the album deals with themes of birth, loss and the varying degrees of confusion within contemporary relationships and the struggles of life. ‘…his confidence and artistry is a joy to behold in last one get the lights’ (Kate Murphy, NARC Magazine: Sept 2021) Committed to the old school method, Nick arranged a two day session which the fundamentals of each track were recorded live, on the studio floor. Everything was recorded ‘off grid’ to allow the flow of each musician to blend naturally. “we went for the organic, live approach to recording to capture something honest and genuine”. NG The album is out now on all major platforms, including Band Camp!
The album’s release was marked with the NG Band’s return to the Cluny 2 in Newcastle, (12.9.2021) to favourable reviews and interest. ‘last one get the lights’ was recorded at Traxx Studios by The Nick Gladdish Band and produced by John Timney. ‘American inspired, warm and gritty rock riffs’ (Rosie Murphy, NE Volume Magazine: Aug 2021)

Eliana Howells is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, she began her musical journey at age five, developing her mastery in both piano and guitar which defines her sound today. Her songwriting is an infusion of pop, indie, and folk, with elements of R&B - a versatile approach that has earned her widespread critical acclaim for her recordings and live performances. A BRIT School alumna, she has cultivated a reputation for being as technically skilled and lyrically astute. For her, music is a powerful force that provides clarity and a sense of belonging. She aims to create an atmosphere where her audience feels a connection, hoping her songs offer others the same inspiration and strength that music has given her throughout her life.

Ellena Storey is a soul singer-songwriter, recounting love, heartbreak & loneliness, through intimate melody and authentic lyrics. Storey's influences are instantly recognisable throughout her discography, from artists such as Etta James, Raye, Adele, London Grammar, Amy Winehouse and Olivia Dean. Storey is one to watch, bringing an intimate, raw, witty energy to her performance on stage.

LILAC SKIES is a London-based singer-songwriter carving out her own space in queer music. Writing unapologetically about the lesbian experience, she blends piano ballads, emo-rock, and lesbian EDM/hyper-pop into a sound that’s emotional, raw, and irresistibly honest.

Her debut EP Confessions of a Femme dives into her love for mascs, the chaos of dating a narcissist, and her devotion to the female form.

After meeting bassist @joanna.mc.music at a London music event, the two began gigging and recording together before welcoming Chris (guitar) and Ellie (drums) into the lineup. Since then, the band has been performing across the city, including shows at Camden’s Fiddler’s Elbow, Ram Jam Records, Arcus Sounds and The Rebel Inn.

Travelling all the way from the exotic lands of the Czech Republic, The Gripes are a punchy, chaotic rock band that doesn’t do subtle. Fast, loud, and messy, their shows are equal parts shouty punk, distorted rock, and funky grunge. If you like your bands raw, sweaty, and unapologetic, The Gripes are here to deliver.
