Originally hailing from the South West Midlands, Laurie Wright is a guitar-driven rock ’n’ roll juggernaut who has rapidly risen through the ranks of the UK live music scene. Picking up a guitar at 14 before relocating to London at 19, Laurie dedicated himself to honing his songwriting craft and now boasts a catalogue of over 300 songs.
2025 has marked Laurie Wright’s biggest leap yet. A headline tour across Scotland and the North of England, major festival appearances across France, Spain, Germany and Holland, and high-profile support slots with Ocean Colour Scene, The Rifles and The Lathums have firmly established him at the forefront of a new wave of British guitar music. A show-stopping 20,000- capacity headline performance at the Bol D’Or Festival in southern France underlined his rapidly growing international presence.
On 26th September 2025, Laurie released his third album, Power Of 3, a raw, adrenaline-fuelled record capturing the visceral intensity of the band’s live show. Packed with emotionally charged lyrics, swaggering guitar riffs and moments of stark honesty, the album showcases Laurie’s evolution as both songwriter and frontman, pushing his sound to its most confident and uncompromising form yet. Following the album’s successful release, Laurie and the band played sold-out support shows with Babyshambles and Tom Meighan, before delivering a career-defining sold-out headline performance at Camden’s iconic Electric Ballroom.
