LA-based collective NOFUN! is made up of ten individual artists all raised in different places. Their genre ranges from alternative rock all the way through to West Coast hip-hop. In addition to their individual careers, every member unites as one force to give music lovers of all genres a chance to be a part of delinquent shenanigans and family dinners.

Magi Mojaxx are a London based 6-piece band. They combine catchy hooks and hard-hitting lyrics to create powerful music often drawing from their own experiences. The sound comes from an adolescence of moving from their parent’s rock/ska collection to discovering hip hop and later down the line more experimental jazz/blues guitarists and their techniques. This is one of many reasons they fail to stick to a single genre, often blending genres regularly throughout the course of a single song.

Embodying the assertive DIY attitude of punk rockers, but placed in a commercial environment, Ben Kidson moves with the times. His music combines modern pop writing and production elements with the alternative rock energy and arrangement of his heroes, Nirvana.

Magi Mojaxx formed whilst studying in Cardiff. Within a couple of months they started recording using the Cardiff Student Radio as a recording platform for acoustic covers of popular songs. Since then, they have enjoyed writing their own music both individually and collaboratively, having featured several times on BBC Introducing.

Embodying the assertive DIY attitude of punk rockers, but placed in a commercial environment, Ben Kidson moves with the times. His music combines modern pop writing and production elements (think harry styles, taylor swift), with the alternative rock energy and arrangement of his heroes, Nirvana.

in 2022/23, Ben’s energetic live show earnt him a spot as a finalist at the Isle of Wight Festival’s ‘New Blood’ Competition, and at the American Express Gold Unsigned competition. If you’ve used Tiktok recently, you’ll see and hear him on an advert for Amex, which has had over 7 million views to date, and if you use Amazon Prime, you’ve likely seen him in ‘Unsigned’, a documentary about the competition itself.

Ben already has a fan in legendary singer Robert Plant, who signed him to the Wolves Records, and helped him get Radio 1 support on his first single ‘Joking’. He performed on the BBC introducing stage at Boardmasters festival in August, with his performance being chosen as one of the few to be broadcast across BBC Southwest as a highlight of the weekend.
