A brand new night celebrating the very best in emerging talent.

Every week for the past eight or so years, we have been running our New Moon discovery nights. These nights offer up-and-coming artists from around the world the chance to perform on our stage and learn their craft whilst also allowing attendees to see undiscovered, raw talent.

We have hand-picked some of our favourite artists to perform to you on a Friday night - allowing as many people as possible to witness how much local talent pass through Grassroots Music Venues.

Line Up

Hailing from Southwest London, this sibling-led three-piece band, with Amber on vocals/guitar, Will on bass and their childhood friend Luke on drums, have amassed 11,000+ monthly listeners on Spotify with +30,000 combined streams for their first album.

Incorporating a melting pot of influences spanning 70s to present day, from the intricate rhythms of punk and progressive rock to the vibrant groove of funk, their music is a rollercoaster of sonic exploration.

Very much live-music led, Art Room has already achieved band- defining moments such as performing at Glastonbury 2022 and 02 Academy in Islington, having their album ‘On The Lilac River’ produced by Morgan Nicholls (formerly of The Streets and The Gorillas) and being interviewed on BBC Radio, RTL Luxembourg and Delaware University Radio. Art Room are now in the studio working on new tracks for launch end of 2024.

Punkrock's daughter has a son with a robot. The hellish cyborg offspring is exiled. Sick riffs and spite are his only solace. This is our ancestors story.

No Rest For The Spacemen (NRFTSM) is an exciting new indie collective that have traversed the cosmos with their galactic melodies and spacey psychedelia.

Front man Charlie Parker spent two years honing his craft as a song-writer before recruiting fellow spacemen Daniel Beling, Dan Wood and Alex Brunt to bring his music to life. Together NRFTSM have just released their jet fuelled debut single ‘Somebody Like You’ which is out of this world!

Taking musical influence from the legendary David Bowie, Bob Dylan and Pulp, ‘Somebody Like You’ was produced at The Magic Garden by the renowned Gavin Monaghan.

NRFTSM perfectly weave together catchy hooks and melodies to create an unforgettable indie experience with soft, psychedelic undertones.

A 19 year old singer and songwriter who had recently finished her first EP of an indie,pop-rock genre, consisting of 6 songs, Matilda focuses on bringing energy and fun to her music as well as connection and honesty.
