Meet the legendary Mike Berry!
One of the few original 60’s artistes who can still actually ‘Do It’! AND one of the first recording artistes from the famous ‘Joe Meek’ studio with whom he came to be recognised as THE British “Buddy Holly”.
His first recording in 1961 was the now ‘Classic’ - “Tribute to Buddy Holly”! Mike went on to have more hits, touring with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, prior to their explosion onto the world stage!
He has continued to perform ever since, backed by his own excellent band, The Outlaws Mike is an exemplary ‘Rocker/balladeer’ with a career spanning 63 years and whose extensive Rock ’n’ Roll repertoire is guaranteed to please all true believers!
Apart from his own Hits, Mike performs many nostalgic classics from the likes of Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee, Elvis, Chuck Berry, The Everly’s, Rick Nelson, Eddie Cochran and more.
He will also invite the audience to take part in a Question & Answer session. . . . . . . Or Not!?
With his not inconsiderable talent, warmth and humour, Mike likes to reach out to his audience, treating them like old friends , all of which accounts for his longevity as a first class entertainer, not only as a musician, but also as a first class actor, as is proven by his starring role in the iconic comedy series Are You Being Served? and the iconic Children’s TV series Worzel Gummidge with Jon Pertwee!
This will be a comfortable, mainly seated show, so grab your tickets and spoil yourselves without delay!
