A fantastic co-headline gig with two of our favourite 'ones to watch' Beau Bennett and Alex Francis. Both have had a fantastic summer of festivals and support tours and now co-headline with their full bands at The Half Moon for Independent Venue Week.
Line Up
Beau Bennett is a folk-rock infused singer songwriter from London. Her spine-tingling lyricism and powerful vocals sit at the helm of her work, with musical arrangements credited to her vibrant band, it’s no shock they are mercilessly growing in popularity.
Their debut single ‘Apricty’ crowed as BBC Introducing’s ‘Track-of-the-Week’, was the arrival gates for the bands journey, securing them a summer of notorious UK venues and festivals, such as Boardmasters and Black Deer festival. Their latest release ‘Rose Tinted Glasses’ followed shortly after, also attracting the spotlight from the UKs number one radio station.
With a full EP set to be released early 2025, Beau Bennett is lighting up the independent music scene with a fresh, energetic sound that makes for nothing short of a euphoric live experience.
Acclaimed singer and songwriter Alex Francis is set to release a brand-new EP on Stanley Park Records / Absolute
Entitled “Introducing Alex Francis,” the four-song collection features two covers alongside two new original compositions. With his raw, soulful vocal Alex offers a stunning stripped back take on the EP’s first single, a stunning re-imagination of the Leona Lewis classic “Bleeding Love”.
The EP is a product of Alex’s collaboration with Grammy Award-winning production team of Mark Taylor and Patrick Mascall. Alex has toured with an array of internationally acclaimed artists including Sting, Alanis Morissette and Stereophonics. With over 30 million Spotify streams, his music has struck a chord with listeners globally, reflecting his rapidly expanding fan base.
