Line Up

Blending dark country, twisted western, and heavy delta blues with the kind of soaring textures more usually found in shoe gaze, Wyatt returns after a 10 year hiatus with a new solo album currently in production. Expect low tuned dirty slide guitars, gritty blues harmonica and themes that vary from heartache and betrayal to getting lost in the wilderness.

A self taught multi-instrumentalist who first picked up a guitar aged 12, he has toured the world in bands such as The Wonder Stuff, Bassboosa and Alev Lenz. Equally at home on the other side of the microphone Wyatt has also become an established sound engineer and producer. On becoming a father in the mid 10’s he quit the touring lifestyle altogether and so ended the live gigs - until now.

His latest new music draws inspiration from his recent adventures exploring the country’s rivers and backwaters by kayak, or taking on some of the biggest trails and mountain summits by foot. A film-maker with a growing YouTube following, he originally intended to just record a few background textures for his documentary films. After all, why pay for sub standard stock music libraries when you can play and record your own tracks? But getting the guitar out again re-ignited his spark for writing songs. Now a new album and more live shows and festival appearances are on the way in 2025.

A looming presence in every sense, Tootawl’s music is frank, forward, and rich with emotion. Christened ‘too tawl’ whilst in Nashville due to his height, the name stuck, and upon his arrival home he began working as Tootawl.

Since Tennessee, Tootawl has received national radio airplay, toured extensively, and also had his song ‘House On The Moon’ played in an episode of the Netflix original series 'You Me Her'.

Now based in London, he has signed with Max Music Publishing and released his debut self-titled LP in June of 2020, which was called "an excellent debut" by Hot Press.

Recently, Tootawl recorded his second album, Roger Fenton’s Wagon, during the various lockdowns, and it is due for release in May.
