Line Up

My name is Sophie Beatrix, a Plymouth-raised singer-songwriter based in London. I have a passion for music and live for live performance. I write all of my songs and I'm a one person gig! I am really excited to share my own creations for you to enjoy. Ever since I was little I was either playing the piano or holding a guitar. Singing naturally followed and I began to love writing my own music. I am fresh on the scene and and looking into recording my first album. I want to spend this year performing, gaining a following and (hopefully!) providing enjoyment to others listening.

Harriet is a Yorkshire lass living in London. She trained as an actor and has a love for story telling through song. She started seriously writing music in Lockdown when she wrote her folk musical ‘Mad for our Daughters’ with Anna Soden, fellow actor and childhood friend, who had written the story. ‘Mad for our Daughters’ has since been performed at The Turbine, Battersea and Seven Dials Playhouse, Soho.

Whilst at drama school Harriet wrote an original score to Watership Down, which was recorded in a studio. Sadly all of her hard work got lost in a flood in her old school building!

Harriet loves all things folk and jazz. Growing up she played double bass in her own country band and was the lead singer in many jazz bands at school. Her influences stem from her dads 70s/80s record collection of Fleetwood Mac, Simply Red and The Commitments and her adolescence of road trips picking up litter at folk festivals starring Johnny Flynn, Laura Marling and Holy Moly and the Crackers.

Harriet is currently working on her first EP about still feeling 17.
