Line Up

Cheam’s very own Ferb (the band) return to the Half Moon after an impressive New Moon slot in April, with the four piece comprised of Harley McKinley, Tom Tye, Ross Blendell and Joel Brian Boniface prepared to conquer the legendary Putney venue once more. Their familiar yet fresh brand of indie rock and post-punk inspired by the likes of The Strokes, Radiohead and Fontaines D.C. have gained them a hot following in their local area, making various electrifying appearances at Epsom Social, as well as upcoming slots at Camberwell’s Dash the Henge in May and Nonsuch Park’s Summer Fest in June. The boys may also have an EP out by the time they play (should be out some time in May), and will be playing songs from there and many more new ones by that point.

Newborn rock band MAYA have combined their range of musical influences to create a set of originals. Hailing locally, and starting the year with a sold-out show in Kingston, the band is looking to bring their alt-rock/post punk sound to the Half Moon.

With what started as a classified advert and bedrooms sessions, MAYA formed at the end of last year with flavours and experience from each of their own projects rolled into one and a promise to reach new heights.

No Rest For The Spacemen (NRFTSM) is an exciting new indie collective that have traversed the cosmos with their galactic melodies and spacey psychedelia.

Front man Charlie Parker spent two years honing his craft as a song-writer before recruiting fellow spacemen Daniel Beling, Dan Wood and Alex Brunt to bring his music to life. Together NRFTSM have just released their jet fuelled debut single ‘Somebody Like You’ which is out of this world!

Taking musical influence from the legendary David Bowie, Bob Dylan and Pulp, ‘Somebody Like You’ was produced at The Magic Garden by the renowned Gavin Monaghan.

NRFTSM perfectly weave together catchy hooks and melodies to create an unforgettable indie experience with soft, psychedelic undertones.
