Leah Haworth is an artist and songwriter from Lancashire. She has been writing and playing guitar since she was 11, and at age 16 moved to London to attend The BRIT School. Leah’s love and passion for songwriting and singing penetrates through her music with an emotional delicacy and intimacy that is heard throughout her songs. After writing and recording her debut EP in her shed in her back garden, in 2023 Leah signed to Point Blank Recordings and released the first single from the EP on 9th February 2024.

After reading Diane Ahlquist ‘Moon Spells’ and learning about the different types of energy and effect the moon has on the Earth throughout its cycles, Leah was inspired to incorporate and harness the energy of the moon into her music by experimenting with releasing each song on either a New Moon or a Full Moon. As a believer of the Universe, this is almost a spiritual-creative experiment. Each song on Leah’s EP started in solitude with just herself and her guitar/piano. Having experienced first heartbreak, loss and death, but also enlightenment and present moment living, they are all written from a point of reflection, inspired by the shifting point of teenager to twenty-something.

Born in east London to parents of Yemeni descent. Farah was bathed in music growing up, with the sounds of Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson dominating the Audhali household airwaves. After discovering her love of music at a young age, Farah began immersing herself in various music-related activities during her school years. From taking drumming and steel pan lessons, to joining the school's gospel choir. Surrounding herself with musicians and absorbing the sights and sonics of fellow creatives helped hone her writing. Developing her own musical identity, Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, Lauryn Hill and Jazmine Sullivan became Farah’s staples at the time, finding the deliciously sensual world of R&B as one which spoke to her so deeply.

Farah recently signed with the record label Blue Adventure Records, founded by GRAMMY and Jazz FM award-winning artist and producer NK-OK of Blue Lab Beats, with both the label and Farah geared up for an exciting year of new music. Her first single on the label, ‘On the Run’, is a Neo-Jazz, soothing-yet-commanding track about the toxicity of being swept up in newfound love and passion. 'On The Run' now sits at 863k streams and was featured on a vast array of Spotify playlists – New Music Friday, UK R&B, R&B Weekly, Next Wave Soul, Lowkey, Soul Coffee, Nightcap, and Orbit, with her latest single ‘Favourite’ also featuring on New Music Friday, Lowkey and Jazz UK. Receiving online support from Etta Bond who said “Your voice really does something to me. Wow”, Farah was announced the winner of Etta’s A1 open verse challenge, and as a result is set to collaborate with her and Raf Riley on a brand new track in the new year. Farah’s unreleased single 'Found You' also appears in the BBC’s new show Dreaming Whilst Black, with the track dropping next year. Weaving a new tapestry, lending her velvety, alluring and distinctive vocals to smooth and playful Neo-soul melodies, Farah is a thrilling star on the rise.
