Line Up

Four handsome young lads with a penchant for rocking, rolling and more to boot!

Ferb (the band) are a five-piece band based in Cheam, formed in December 2022. They consist of frontman, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Harley McKinley, guitarist Ross Blendell, bassist Tom Tye, drummer and multi-instrumentalist Joel Brian Boniface, and touring member-turned core member, keyboardist and vocalist Max Kavanagh. The boys all met at Cheam High School, and whilst in sixth form the four founding members bonded over a shared love of bands from the 2000’s post-punk scene, inspired by the DIY nature of bands like The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys.

On the 1st of April, Ferb will be playing their first gig outside of the Epsom Social, in which they have garnered a name for themselves through open mic nights and back to back 45 minute long sets on the 30th of March, bringing their familiar yet fresh and energetic brand of indie rock to the New Moon night.

Sofia is a 20 year old singer songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from south London. As an alternative rock artist Sofia has a big passion for 90s rock music taking influence from bands such as Oasis and the Stone Roses as well as taking inspiration from many Blues artists such as Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan. These elements really shine through Sofia’s music with melodic bass lines and raging electric guitars yet through this wall of sound you can always find a catchy hook which has become prevalent in Sofia’s music. As Sofia has progressed in the industry she has written, self produced and recorded all of her music as well as directing her videos and imagery.

Sofia has a huge track record of performing since the age of seven having performed all around the world as well as headlining shows around Brighton and London. Whilst playing Electric guitar, Sofia sings lead vocals supported by her five piece band; drums, bass, electric and rock organ.

Mukhy

From the tender years of his childhood, Joey Collins was immersed in a rich tapestry of melodies, discovering solace and refuge in the world of music during his parents' separation. Since then, music has remained a constant companion, guiding him through the highs and lows of life. At the tender age of 8, he grasped his first instrument, and by 16, he was crafting his own songs.

Hailing from the vibrant city of Nottingham, England, Joey Collins is a multifaceted artist — a singer-songwriter and a producer with a genre-fluid sound, though often leaning in the direction of the alternative rock bracket. Collins weaves introspective thoughts and emotive soundscapes, combining powerful arrangements with strikingly personal lyrics that resonate deeply with listeners.

The vastness of Joey's musical artistry is reflected in his extensive catalogue, diverse and prolific, showcasing the depth of his creativity. His journey began with a first release in 2017, and from that moment, he dedicated himself to refining and honing his craft. This tireless pursuit of finding oneself culminated in the release of his debut album, 'Yin-Yang,' in March 2023. More than just a collection of songs, the LP became a cathartic release for Joey, as he confronted his mental health struggles through his music. 'Yin-Yang' delves into the dualities of life, illuminating the interconnectedness of light and darkness, hope and despair, love and loss, in an eloquent sea of emotions.

Showcasing continuous growth as a songwriter, he has received great support from BBC Introducing’s Dean Jackson, in which he has received ‘Track of the week’ multiple times, whilst Tom Robinson aired ‘Looked Upon A Shore’ on ‘BBC Radio 6 Music's Introducing Mixtape’. Collins also placed in the BBC Introducing top 25 “most played” chart out of the entire East Midlands music scene in 2020 and 2022. One of his standout singles, 'Feed Me Your Love,' surpassed all expectations. Its mix by the Guy Elderfield, known for his work with The Libertines and Jimmy Eat World, elevated the song to new heights. The track caught the ear of official Spotify curators, landing on the prestigious editorial playlists 'All New Rock' and 'Alt Rocked,' sharing space with music legends such as Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, and Hayley Williams.

Following his debut album, Collins has embarked on releasing new music, collaborating with renowned mix engineers including Sefi Carmel, known for his work with icons like David Bowie, Phil Collins, and Massive Attack, as well as Dan Konopka from the Grammy award-winning band OK Go.

20-year-old singer-songwriter, Musician and Composer Kiah Lindsay is a fresh artist from rural West Wales. Her unique fusion of Indie Folk/Country and Soul highlights a 'New Age Wales': a breathtaking and intoxicating landscape full of rich heritage and culture.

Kiah's first indipendent release came in 2022 with a "Holly Humberstone" inspired pop track titled, 'KEEP BURNING'

Soon after, she got signed by Cwtch Records and began working on her very first, full length LP.

Kiah's 2023 DEBUT ALBUM 'Meet Me' is an enchanting and honest story of self discovery. She discusses relationships, homesickness and coming of age.

Kiah takes inspiration on this record from artists like, (Ben Howard, John Mayer, Lizzy McAlpine and Phoebe Bridgers) along with her life long passion of 'Theatre'. She encapsulates us in her story telling much like the written works of Stephen Sondheim.

Continuing to write for pleasure and future projects, Kiah is taking a step into Soul, with inspiration from (Etta James and Carole King).
