Line Up

Semwanga is an indie/hip-hop artist from the south east. With a passion for music since a young age, his influence comes from everywhere. From Tyler the creator to grime, shoe gaze, or the funky stylings of Fela Kuti. He makes music for the world around him and he’s only just starting.

London born and raised, Molly Meaker, the 19 year old multi-instrumentalist and singer songwriter presents songs from her unreleased and up-coming album (release date TBC).

Molly began her musical training on the classical viola, attending Saturday music schools in London. She discovered her passion for songwriting at age 14, with guidance from teacher and songwriter Sorana Santos at CYM (Centre for Young Musicians), which led to Molly’s release of her debut EP ‘Pardon My Enthusiasm’ in the summer of 2020. Molly recorded and produced the album at home over the first covid lockdown.

After a two year hiatus to focus on finishing school, she began to perform live in the summer of 2022 debuting at the world famous Ronnie Scott’s jazz club in an industry showcase (Ruby Sings). Thus far, Molly’s mum Ingrid Meaker, accompanies her on keys which creates a unique dynamic and presence on stage.

Molly’s sound is an eclectic array of classic rock, 50s blues and elements of jazz, inspired by years of listening to Pink Floyd, Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen. With lyrics inspired by poets such as Sylvia Plath, molly’s songwriting addresses the stigma of mental health and being a ‘medicated youth’ (a lyric from unreleased song ‘Sertraline’) and exploring both the pains and the joys of growing up, especially in the 21st century.

Will Rouse is a 24 year old singer, songwriter, and guitarist from St Albans. His music takes on brooding tones, with his debut tracks exploring the themes of introspection, nostalgia, and the re-evaluation of our own perspectives.

With an eclectic taste ranging from Ben Howard to Joy Orbison, Will is keen to avoid being pigeonholed in his music. “I really want to push myself with the projects I’m working on, to try new song writing methods and really escape being pinned down”, he says, “It is helpful to have reliable creative processes, but I think the best work comes from the unexpected.”

Shane Crossley 26 year old singer-songwriter, guitarist and dancer. I was born and raised in Croydon south London. I Grew up listening to country and western and 70s and 80s funk. When I was a teenager I became infatuated with 50s rock and roll, rockabilly and blues. I also gained a love for 80s metal. I’ve been performing in high school talent shows and open mics in Croydon on and off since then. I began writing songs on the guitar when I was 18.

Tris Puri is a former session musician turned singer-songwriter and producer. In a former life, Tris was a classically trained pianist, and toured the UK as a jazz drummer in his teens. After teaching himself the guitar, he then turned his hand to songwriting. His songs are a reflection of his diverse musical upbringing. With elements of Robben Ford, BB King, Laura Marling, Jack Garratt and Christine and the Queens, Tris creates his own universe that sits somewhere between dance pop, blues and folk. During Covid, Tris began producing his own songs, starting with his debut track, Braver, which has received rave reviews from RGM, Xune Mag and AnR Factory. Fresh from opening for Chris Jagger, Tris is beginning to make his mark on the London music scene.
