To support the release in January of ‘Charge!’, the band’s first live album, Rhino’s Revenge returns to the Half Moon stage on October 30.
The side band of John ‘Rhino’ Edwards, bass player with rock legends Status Quo, Rhino’s Revenge is made up from a pool of stellar players, that currently includes guitarist Jim Kirkpatrick from FM and drummer Richard Newman, who has performed with Paul Rodgers, Rory Gallagher, Jefferson Starship, Steve Marriott, Alvin Lee and Glenn Hughes..
Line Up
In a rare break from his day job as the bass player with rock legends Status Quo, John ‘Rhino’ Edwards has confirmed selected shows with his side band Rhino’s Revenge.
Live dates will support the release of the second Rhino’s Revenge album – 15 years after the band’s debut was released by Eagle Records.
“By any standards, that’s a long time between albums,” says Rhino, “but when you’re fortunate enough to be in a band like Quo, you don’t get too much spare time!”
Having previously been a member of acts including The Climax Blues Band, Space and Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Rhino was invited to join Quo in 1987 and has been permanent in the line-up ever since.
