SINGBABYSING is the pseudonym of South London based songwriter Harry James Gibson.

SINGBABYSING began in November 2021 with the release of the debut ‘Spring Brings The Blues EP’. The release was picked up by BBC Introducing South East presenter Abbie McCarthy, with single ‘Mascara Lines’, 'Bad Summer' and the title track receiving regular airtime. SINGBABYSING was then selected in Abbie McCarthy’s ones-to-watch in 2022 show in January.

Harry is a talented songwriting honing his craft, lyrically poetic, emotive, and introspective, musically the project can be described as alternative indie. Harry’s songs always have an edge of aggression, setting the tracks apart from other traditional songwriters.

Harry has now formed a five-piece band featuring vocals, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone and synths, and is looking to develop a reputation in London’s new music scene

Almost a decade after playing in various outfits together and separately on the west coast of Scotland from the tender age of 14, a chance meeting on a train back home for Christmas from London brought childhood friends Frankie Morrow (electric guitar, lead vocals) James Smith (bass - formerly Be Charlotte) and Duncan Carswell (drums - formerly The Vegan Leather) back together once more. A couple of bevvies later; a plan was born.

After two failed attempts at getting together - and a pandemic to boot - the band finally formed in January 2022.

Before they had played their first gig the then unreleased track White Rocks had already picked up its first airplay on BBC Introducing in Scotland and later on Amazing Radio in the UK and USA.

Frankie in the meantime had also met and began playing with established singer-songwriters Neev (acoustic guitar, keys, BVs) and Samuel Nicholson (electric guitar) after hitting it off at a gig at a dive bar in Camden run by a mutual friend.

White Rocks, part of a larger project to be released in 2022, was recorded between Frankie’s flat in London, friends houses, as well as sneaking in late at night to a local studio for free.

Self-produced by Frankie, with tracks mixed by Taylor Pollock and mastered by Izzy McPhee, a deliberate choice was made to secure an all female engineering team.

BBC Introducing's Shereen Cutkelvin: "I absolutely love this artist…Frankie is on a mission to let the world know women can front guitar bands...and I'm sure she is going to succeed."

Jessie Dipper is an independent singer-songwriter with an alternative-acoustic folk/rock sound. A storyteller by heart, Jessie writes and performs songs to hold a moment or a memory, facilitating conversation both in her guitar musings and lyrical vocal style. She speaks from a place of exploration of life, grief, love and longing. Now based in Cardiff, Wales, Jessie has a highly anticipated ‘coming-of-age' album and is due to be released later this year. This exciting and emerging artist has enjoyed the company of Grammy award winning producers in co-writes and toured with television personality and singer Megan McKenna for her 2021 tour as well as travelled to Australia and New Zealand on an independent tour. For fans of Paulo Nuntini, Ed Sheeran, Joni Mitchell and Lucy Spraggan
