Founded in January 2017, New Moon offers music fans the chance to see the best up-and-coming acts from the UK, Europe, and often from around the globe.

Only £2.50 entry. Food served until 10pm. Doors open 7:30pm. Free Two Tribes Beer for the first 24 customers.

Line Up

Morning Tourist is London based indie folk rock artist, Sean McKinney, who’s debut EP ‘Quiet Lives’ fuses country tinged acoustics with fuzzy distortion, exploring political themes with lyrical introspection. Morning Tourist has played extensively on the London circuit, and embarked on two European tours.

The band has appeared at regional festivals and received local and digital radio play. Morning Tourist is currently performing in support of a forthcoming 9 track LP, ‘The Endless Eve’.

Alex and The Milkshake Boys are a power-pop outfit that blends raucous rhythms and catchy melodies with a wry wit to create tasty tunes for your consumption. Known for their high energy live shows, with frequent audience participation, Alex and The Milkshake Boys are excited to bring a new permeation of it to the Half Moon.

Their debut EP 'All Downhill From Here' was released independently in 2019 and can be found in all the usual places.

With powerful vocals, vulnerable lyrics and catchy melodies, UK based singer-songwriter Gorran presents a unique blend of alternative and chill pop. Inspired by the likes of Jeremy Zucker, Lauv and Conan Gray, he is described by TheLine of Best Fit as ‘glowing pop talent’, with a ‘vivid and authentic’ sound.

Gorran has spent the past year writing and recording new material at Eastcote Studios with renowned producer Martin Terefe and Grammy Award winning mix engineer Dyre Gormsen. Gorran’s debut EP ‘Grown Up’ was released on July 8th; a mix of fun, punchy pop tracks and nostalgic ballads, with themes of coming-of-age and first love & loss.

Gregory Jay is a singer/songwriter from the Manx hills - living in London. Influenced by folk rock artists like David Gray, James Morrison, Richard Ashcroft ... he wrote and co-produced his first EP 'Daydreams & Late Sleeps' at the age of 17, releasing his first song ‘Minute of Mine’ during 2021 and his latest release ‘Holiday Blues’ out February 13th. Greg seeks to evolve also drawing influence from electro-dance music inspired by his travels back to half of his heritage in the Mediterranean, aiming to transport you from exotic Maltese caves to the ex-Viking villages of his hometown.

Zoe Badman is a singer/Songwriter and session musician from Newbury who has worked within the industry since she was 16. With an eclectic taste and love for music she has now decided to record and release an ep that has a mix of genres fused that gives a soul, blues reggae vibe. Working with some of the best session musicians in the studio who also work with many named artists, Zoe is now showcasing some of these tunes before release, and can't wait to share them publicly. Previously Zoe has supported bands such as 90s band Dodgy and Artists such as Freya Ridings. Zoe is a rising artist loving every minute of her musical Journey and loves to do nothing more than perform!
