£12 Adv / £14 Door
Entry Requirements: 18+ after 7pm

We’re delighted to be able to present a fantastic double header of Americana music with Cheshire 7 piece Fine Lines and London based artist Tim Prottey-Jones.

Championed by Matt Spracklen on Absolute Radio Country and Tom Robinson on BBC 6Music, Fine Lines has build a deserved reputation with fans of authentic live music up and down the country including festival appearances with Texas, Razorlight, folk rock giants Merry Hell, John Power (Cast) and Miles Hunt (Wonderstuff). Their sound has echoes of Dylan & the Band, Gram Parsons and Bruce Springsteen whilst maintaining a unique quality that is singularly their own.

The band’s third album ‘Deadbeat Lullabies ’was released in October 2021 and was written by the group’s songwriting partnership of singer/guitarist David Boardman and drummer (and radio/TV presenter) Mark Radcliffe. David’s yearning melodies perfectly complimenting Mark’s nuanced, observational lyrics.

Tim Prottey-Jones has become a real shining light in the UK Country scene. As founder member of Decca/Universal UK recording artists The Wandering Hearts, Tim has shared stages with the likes of Chris Stapleton, Marty Stuart & John Prine in such prestigious venues as The Ryman Auditorium, The Bluebird Cafe & Graceland. The band toured extensively throughout the UK, supporting such iconic artists as Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks and Eric Clapton in a string of Hyde Park shows.

As a solo artist Tim has been championed by BBC Radio 2 DJ Bob Harris and his first four singles have had their exclusive first plays on The Country Show. As a champion of British country music himself, he hosts his own radio show ‘Homegrown’ that airs each Wednesday evening on Chris Country Radio, the UK’s largest country radio station.

Line Up

Fine Lines is a six piece roots infused Americana band based in Cheshire, England. Started by singersongwriter David Boardman in 2016, the band has been gradually building a growing reputation with fans of authentic live music up and down the country. The band’s debut album ‘Hour Of Need’ received universally glowing reviews on its release in May 2017 and they have been performing to increasingly more appreciative audiences ever since. Indeed, since their inception, Fine Lines has shared a stage with folk rock giants Merry Hell, Mark Radcliffe’s Galleon Blast, Razorlight, John Power (Cast) and Miles Hunt (Wonderstuff).

The sound has echoes of Dylan & the Band, Mercury-era Rod Stewart and Bruce Springsteen whilst maintaining a unique quality that is singularly their own. Centred around the twin vocals of Boardman and Zoe Blythe, the band is perfectly complimented by the simpatico playing of musicians Gary O’Brien (piano and Hammond organ), Emily Doggett (fiddle), Alex Berry (bass) and Mark Radcliffe (drums).

The new album ‘Gaslight Roses’, which also includes new single ‘On the Town’, was largely written by the emerging songwriting partnership of Boardman and Radcliffe; Boardman’s yearning melodies perfectly complimenting Radcliffe’s nuanced, observational lyrics. ‘Gaslight Roses’ is released through the band’s own label Parade Recordings on March 22nd.

Tim is a writer, producer, artist, father & husband currently working out of London, UK.

As a founder of the UK alt-country band, ‘The Wandering Hearts’, he was signed to Decca/Universal & enjoyed success both in the UK & in the States & has played such legendary venues as The Grand Ole Opry, The Ryman Auditorium, Bluebird Cafe, Graceland & Hyde Park.

Now, as a solo artist, Tim prepares to release new material, with a new attitude & a new sense of freedom & confidence brought about by many years in the music industry & live theatre scene.
