Line Up

Apple Shakers are an Alt Indie duo from East London. They pull inspiration from Indie, Psychedelia, Punk and Alt Rock which combine to create an honest and powerful guitar driven sound. The duo isn‘t restricted by their bodycount, they create a dynamic sound on the record and also live. ”When we‘re writing we don‘t think duo, we think big and make it work for us on stage.” - Basil Their sound consists of octave guitar, punchy drums and a fat bass synth which gives us that something special that’s subtle enough so people won’t be able to pin point what exactly it is that they like about it. ”Our live sound is big, powerful and unique, coupled with our energetic stage performance.” - Rory

‘raw and exquisite… marvellous stuff.’ - NARC. Magazine.

‘lyrical quality, outstanding musicianship and melodic opulence.' - Folkwords Reviews.

Jenny Lascelles is a singer-songwriter and pianist from Newcastle Upon Tyne, performing regularly both as a solo artist and with her band.

Jenny has just released her third album, ‘A Little Louder’, which takes her music in an entirely new direction – away way from the acoustic and folk-influenced genre, and towards her darkest sound yet, Northern indie pop with cinematic electronic and vocal layers.

Her latest songs are her most intimate work to date, and have received critical acclaim and national radio play including BBC Introducing North East and BBC Introducing Tees. She is looking forward to bringing her band and new music down South!

Dusty is a slide guitar and blues harmonica player from Northern Ireland, now based in Brockley, Southeast London.

A love for harmonica as a boy grew into obsession with guitar as a teen. Dusty has played lead guitar, drums and fronted rock, folk and heavy metal bands. But it was only when an encounter with a jawsy hellhound left Dusty one finger-tip down did his path as a slide player begin.

I have always been intrigued by storytelling and drinking songs. With these in mind, I have worked to create my own voice and stories out of the history of these folk tunes. I'm regularly showcasing new songs across London's live music scene. I hope to bring along a mixture of intimate, relaxed folk dreams and bluesy foot-stompers.
