The Trembling Wilburys pay perfect homage to the Traveling Wilburys, the amazing supergroup formed in 1988 by George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne, Bob Dylan and the late great Tom Petty (R.I.P.) with hits including “Handle With Care”, “End Of The Line” & “She’s My Baby” as well as their incredible solo catalogues, plus Beatles & ELO songs.
The original Wilburys never played live as sadly the great “Big O” passed away shortly after the release of their debut album in 1988, but luckily the Trembling Wilburys can bring you their version of the “show that never was” with an incredibly uplifting 2 hours of fantastic music.
Line Up
Great tribute show featuring classics by the Traveling Wilburys, George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne & the Beatles.
This superb 7-piece band perfectly recreates the unique sound & style of the amazing supergroup created in 1988 by George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne. Band members include Glen Knowler as an incredible George Harrison look & sound-alike, while Dave Collison perfectly captures Roy Orbison‘s amazing vocal range. Lead guitarist Dzal Martin also plays with Terry Reid, Jo Burt and No Dice, while drummer Dave Stark and bassist Mark Laver recently guested with The Quarrymen, the band that became the Beatles. As well as classics by the Wilburys, George/Beatles, Dylan, Petty & Lynne, the band will also be playing a set of Roy Orbison numbers during the evening as a special tribute to the great "Big O".
