Line Up

Comprising Alfie Crews (vocals/rhythm guitar/songwriter), Esat Gokcen (lead guitar), Digby Ovenden (drums) and Yanni Manussis (bass guitar), The Riversiders formed within their West-London Sixth Form College.

Having been close friends before the creation of the band, the easy chemistry between them resonates with the audience both through live shows and recordings, creating an atmosphere that is welcoming and intimate whilst maintaining the band’s signature high energy feel. They bring a new twist to the indie-rock scene with their raw, individual sound that makes their guitar-infused tracks simultaneously original and recognisable.

Hani And The Eaters is the band and musical project led by West Yorkshire-born songwriter Hani Abbasi. Initially a 5-piece post-punk act in Shanghai where Hani was part of the underground arts scene, the project has evolved into a range of eclectic music and various live configurations. Hani’s songs fuse Stones narco-swagger, lyrical drive akin to Suede and the Manic Street Preachers, and an array of influences which have affected his unique approach to guitar music, including Nile Rodgers, Joe Meek’s late 50s productions, J Dilla, Aphex Twin, and all things David Bowie.

Hani’s debut album The Polar Route, written and recorded in Suzhou, China, was released in 2018 to extremely positive reviews: A&R Factory described the lead single ‘Strange Snake’ as “futuristic Britpop”, and MusicNews.com stated that “for a debut album it is quite remarkable”. A Deer Hunter-inspired video for ‘Strange Snake’ was shot on location in Suzhou. A restless musician and multi-instrumentalist, Hani is also a film composer with Bader Media Entertainment, lead guitarist for punk band Johnny Utah & The Utards, and the drummer for Noel Gallagher-produced Manc-country swaggerers Proud Mary. Prior to a UK-wide string of shows later this year with Hani And The Eaters, Hani is playing a series of solo shows this summer to debut material from forthcoming second album When In London, due for release in late 2021.

Milly Thimaras is an established, London-based artist with unique blend of synth-pop and rock. Having performed at Ronnie Scotts & frequent appearances on BBC Radio, Milly brings a compelling & empowering stripped down acoustic performance to The Half Moon.

Tim Brooks is a singer-songwriter from London

Blending the worldplay of classic acts such as Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan, the modern hooks of Frank Turner and Brian Fallon, and delivering it with a powerful, soulful vocal rasp (part Chris Cornell, part Kelly Jones), Tim Brooks has a truly unique sound.

He has toured both the UK and Europe extensively, from garden parties in the affluent Hamburg suburbs to smoking rooms in Amsterdam. From the O2 arena in London as part of the StoneFree festival, to youth hostels in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

His latest concept EP, 3LS is out now all streaming platforms.

So far in 2021, Tim has been collaborating with the renowned Busk in London as part of their artist roster, as well as writing songs for both an upcoming classic soul project, as well as collaborating with country music artists in Nashville.
