Harry Hill + Nina Conti + Sophie Duker

Half Moon - Putney, London

SOLD OUT
Entry Requirements: 18+ after 7pm

Gits and Shiggles celebrates its 10th birthday in June! That's right, it's been 10 years since we did our first show at The Half Moon, with Red Dwarf's Norman Lovett as our first headliner. Since then, it's been a pleasure and a privilege to entertain the people of Putney and see the night grow to the point where we've received Critic's Choice from Time Out, Chortle, Evening Standard and Metro.

We've also welcomed some of the finest acts in the UK and beyond to the Half Moon stage, including Stewart Lee, Harry Hill, Katherine Ryan, Jack Dee, Reginald D. Hunter, Sara Pascoe, Aisling Bea, Nish Kumar, Jack Whitehall, Josh Widdicombe and James Acaster.

In the past 12 months we've only been able to bring you shows sporadically, so we are excited that the newest easing of restrictions coincides with the anniversary, and we are bringing you not one, not two, but THREE fantastic shows to celebrate - as always featuring some of the country's best comics.

Thanks to all that have come to see shows in the past 10 years and have helped make the night what it is! Here's to another 10 years!

Line Up

Harry Hill is one of the most recognisable faces in the country and has created some of the most successful TV shows of the last two decades, collecting three BAFTAs, eight British Comedy Awards and a Golden Rose of Montreux along the way.

As creator and star of TV Burp (ITV1), Harry firmly established himself in the Saturday night, primetime television schedules fronting a staggering 11 series of the show over a 10-year period. The show scooped three BAFTA awards, four British Comedy Awards and the coveted Rose D’Or Award at the Montreux International Television Festival. Described by The Sunday Telegraph as “consistently one of the funniest shows on air,” Harry Hill’s TV Burp was Harry’s unique take on the week’s TV, featuring sketches, observational voiceovers and special guest appearances. The show, which The Guardian Guide raved was “one of the wittiest, sharpest shows on the box,” regularly topped 8 million viewers and led to four spin off ‘best of’ DVD releases as well as Harry’s hugely successful, Harry Hill's TV Burp Book (Ebury).

Most recently the show was nominated in two categories at the 2012 BAFTA Television Awards, the first for Best Entertainment Programme and the second for Best Entertainment Performance for Harry.

Sophie Duker describes herself as a “sexy-cerebral comedy underdog” and is quickly establishing herself as one of the most exciting new acts on the circuit.
