Line Up

Winner of the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show in 2013 for her show A Bic for Her, Bridget Christie has risen to be one of the funniest and most thoughtful political comics in the UK.

She has written and starred in the shows Bridget Christie Minds the Gap and Bridget Christie's Utopia for BBC Radio 4, has written the critically acclaimed book A Book for Her, and has written for The Guardian, The Times, The Observer, The Independent and The Sunday Times. In 2017 her stand up special Stand Up for Her was released on Netflix. She has also appeared on Have I Got News For You, Room 101, Cardinal Burns and Harry Hill's Alien Fun Capsule.

She is one of (if not the) most prominent feminist voices in UK comedy of the last 10 years, and has tackled gender politics as well as Brexit in her most recent shows. Always fiercely intelligent, always passionate but with a dedication to silliness that allows her to puncture the most divisive of topics. She's one of the best.

‘Current queen of crusading UK comedy‘ Guardian.

‘A cherishable comedian‘ Telegraph.

‘Queen of satire‘ Evening Standard.

‘A kind of genius‘ Jon Ronson.

‘A cool, clear glass of sane‘ Caitlin Moran.

‘Laser focused and brilliantly sustained‘ Independent.

Supporting Bridget will be a rising star of stand-up, Catherine Bohart. As seen on 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Mash Report, Jon Richardson's Ultimate Worrier and Roast Battle.

"Funny, warm and affecting: ★★★★ The Times

"Exquisitely plotted and executed hour from a beautifully self-assured performer " ★★★★ The List
