Harry Kersley
The Royal College of Music Gap Year Experience Program was where Harry Kersley Tenor, began his journey of Musical study. This was an opportunity only afforded to those who show exceptionally high levels of ability and potential to progress into a professional career as a musician. The Royal College of Music laid down the foundation of knowledge of classical musicianship. Harry then attended Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London as an undergraduate (Bmus) under the tuition of internationally acclaimed tenors; Lynton Atkinson and Dominic Natoli. Harry took part in many Master Classes at Trinity including working with Europe’s most esteemed opera singers and coaches including Maestro Ubaldo Fabbri, Claire Rutter, Louise Crane, James Gilchrist and Louise Winter.
Charitable Performances: Harry has performed for the Henry van Straubenzee Charity Christmas service in front of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (Prince Harry & Meghan Markle). Furthermore, he sang for the Child’s i Foundation’s black tie gala dinner at The Roof Gardens, Kensington supporting the important work to provide family homes for orphans in Uganda. He was also invited to perform at The Bet 365 arena in Stoke on Trent for The Boparan Charitable Trust, a UK-wide charity which helps children with disabilities and life-limiting conditions.
Harry has appeared as a television judge alongside Geri Horner on BBC One’s: All Together Now, and featured as a soloist in the music video.
Harry has recently played the principal role of Alfredo in Verdi's La Traviata for Opera South East and Tamino in Mozart's Magic Flute for Opera Kensington. His next operatic role will be The Duke in Rigoletto for Brent Opera.
