This superb 7-piece band perfectly recreates the unique sound & style of the amazing supergroup created in 1988 by George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne. Band members include Glen Knowler as an incredible George Harrison look & sound-alike, while Dave Collison perfectly captures Roy Orbison‘s amazing vocal range. Lead guitarist Dzal Martin also plays with Terry Reid, Jo Burt and No Dice, while drummer Dave Stark and bassist Mark Laver recently guested with The Quarrymen, the band that became the Beatles. As well as classics by the Wilburys, George/Beatles, Dylan, Petty & Lynne, the band will also be playing a set of Roy Orbison numbers during the evening as a special tribute to the great "Big O".
Steve Rodgers, singer/songwriter and son of Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Company) is just releasing his much anticipated first album 'Head Up High' produced by Ken Nelson (Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Paolo Nutini) mixed by Adrian Bushby (Foo Fighters, Muse). He has guested at Wembley for Bad Company, Aerosmith’s Joe Perry and the Robert Randolph Band. Tours have included support slots for Bad Company in the UK and Japan and his own headline dates in the UK and Canada. Steve has also supported the Deborah Bonham Band and Midge Ure on their respective tours in the UK and Europe, and in October/November 2017 played a short UK tour with his excellent band including two dates with The Trembling Wilburys guesting in Barnet and at The Cavern in Liverpool.
