Line Up

Formed in London, Grand Massif started to roll in 2018. In the name of the purest love for Rock n Roll, Blues, and all that chaotic rhythmical and unrhythmical beautiful nonsense grooviness, Marina and James formed the band...

The Idea was to create something dirty but pure, direct but metaphorical, deep but light, clear but full of contradictions at the same time.. sprinkled with passion and darkness for your full enjoyment..

Going through lots of changes, musically and in terms of new band members Grand Massif has finally managed to find the right balance and now is ready more than ever to set your souls on fire...

Defined as a subtle mix of indie, folk and reggae with an upbeat and soulful vibe. Mica Jane has hit the ground running with her newly formed four piece band touring around Guildford Basingstoke and London. The four work together to capture a fascinating sound complemented with a stunning vocal delivery. Aspiring to capture the poetic visceral power of Bob Marley’s lyrics combined with the fascinating and sweet melodies of the Staves. Mica Jane's warm and witty storytelling is not to be missed.

FINOLA is a 22 year old independent, country-pop singer-songwriter from Leeds, based in Manchester.

Since moving to Manchester in 2014 to pursue a career in music, FINOLA has gigged at some of the city's best known venues including Gorilla and Band On The Wall as well as selling out three of her own self-promoted gigs, the latter being at Soup Kitchen in 2018 for the release of her latest single; "Losing Value."

Inspired by the likes of Dolly Parton and Taylor Swift, and with support from her backing band (Jack, Nick & Sam,) FINOLA blends her soft country tone and personal songwriting with a modern Nashville sound to create something that is new, yet relatable for every listener.

After making the big move from his hometown of Melbourne to Scotland, singer songwriter Scott Candlish has been refining his alt-folk style with regular shows in the vibrant city of Edinburgh. Through writing and collaborating with local musicians he is now gearing up for the release of his third EP and a follow up European tour launch. Since then he has released 2 EP’s in ‘Elusive’ and ‘Home Away From Home’, both launched at the Workers Club. His debut EP solidly identified his earlier rock influences while his sophomore record saw the embellishment of a more diverse instrumentation and embodied a new wave of folk influence. ‘Dulcet acoustic sing-alongs dripping with meloncholy’ – ‘Home Away From Home’ Tone Deaf Premiere While experimenting with new sounds, Candlish continues writing with his favoured blend of folk fingerstyle and alternative rock. He has drawn much influence from the likes of Ryan Adams, Lindsey Buckingham, Angus and Julia Stone and Ben Howard. His most recent singles released in November 2017 were ‘Halfway’ and ‘Stranger’ both available online continue to articulate this blend. Heading into 2019 the release of the brand new EP will see Candlish breaking new territory with a run of UK launch shows and his first European tour.
