Saachi is an exciting new Indie/Jazz/Pop band, playing vibrant, eclectic original music. Featuring keys, kit, brass and bass, topped with high-energy vocals, the band has played to packed out audiences at venues including the iconic Camden Assembly, Upstairs at the Garage, and the Cambridge Junction, and has supported acts such as Irit Dekel at the Roundhouse, on her national tour.
They have also achieved finalist status in both the Isle of Wight Festival's New Blood competition, as one of 8 out of over 2000 entrant acts, and the Cambridge Band Competition, broadcast across Cambridge TV and radio. Lead singer Saachi Sen's songwriting has gained high level recognition, receiving PRS for Music's Lynsey de Paul prize. She was named as a Roundhouse Resident Artist for 2017-18.
Every Saachi gig is a chance to hear something new, fresh and unexpected. The band have just released their latest single 'Redcoat', along with a music video, and are working on releasing their first EP in November.
“Joining the likes of Chet Faker, HONNE and Bob Moses, Ali establishes himself as a mature artist, poised for a whole lot of attention. His vocals are smooth, his mixing perfect, and the general melody of the song irresistible.”
Ali Robertson is a 20 year old singer-songwriter-producer originally from Fife, Scotland. A multi instrumentalist with nods to beat driven electronic soul, he was originally part of the burgeoning band scene before developing his skills in self produced electronic music.
Preparing for the release of his debut EP, with influences from the likes of Alt-J, Dan Croll, The 1975 and Jack Garratt, Ali is creating a unique slant on song based contemporary production. Working with Write Club Music (Grammy award winning producer and engineer Dave Donaldson and former major label artist and producer Sace) the trio are combining their skills to create songs using a mixture of instruments and electronics. Ali’s appeal sits with a large audience and the end game is to showcase his talent via a major label. Both his releases thus far have received a lot of attention through online blogs and playlists as well as radio play across the UK and in the US. Soundcloud Facebook Sotify Instagram
Shannon Hynes is very much inspired by the poignant honesty of the storytelling in country music. Due to the fact she has studied this music for the majority of her life, she has honed her craft in captivating you in her lyrical stories.
Taking inspiration from past and present leaders in country music, Shannon plans to demonstrate the deep lonesome of the songs she writes with the balance of the innocence and pure tone her vocal executes.
Chris Haddon is a singer songwriter from Cornwall (UK). His style of music is Rock n' Soul with a mix of blues, folk and pop.
Previously a session musician for bands such as Cosmo Jarvis, Rox, Patrice, Lydia Baylis, Ruarri Jospeh and more. Chris has had the pleasure of supporting artists such as Bruno Mars, Scissor Sisters, Seu George and many more.
