Jon Markwell – Melodic highly modern crafted Indie folk Music

Line Up

Versonic

The Common Heroes are an indie rock band made up of an eclectic mix of musicians with a wide range of musical taste, age and experience. They have headlined festivals and supported some famous names in the music industry. Their completely original music combines the sound of artists such as Paul Weller, The Who and Oasis to create a unique melodic wall of sound.

Guitar Riffs to catch the listener’s ear are accompanied by thumping, driving bass lines, innovative drumming and passionate vocals.

A Common Heroes show comes with a guarantee of a good time. You will not be disappointed as these reviews show;

“They’d get the dead dancing” (Bez, 'Happy Mondays')

“Great sound, Great Riffs” (Nigel Clark, 'Dodgy')

With his cleverly written, honest, and engaging songs, Jon Markwell is a talented guitarist with a refreshingly laid back attitude. Musically educated, and a lovable, charming performer, he returns to the Half Moon Putney with his band this December
