Line Up

London-based indie rockers Saintair blend their Caribbean influence with the sounds of classic indie bands. Mixing traditional indie rock textures with island swagger, the trio blend vivid lyricism with memorable guitar riffs, and bouncing base lines that get the audience moving.

Solace formed in 2019 on the Isle of Wight in the UK, originally as a 5 piece. The band quickly became a 4-piece outfit and after a few member changes in the early months settled on a line-up that would last until after the covid lockdown of 2020-21. The guys played numerous gigs prior to THIS but many planned shows had to be cancelled when COVID struck and plunged the world into turmoil.

With lockdowns over, the band headed to a local recording studio with a session drummer and recorded a 5 track EP called ‘The bad cow sessions’. Unfortunately, this was never finished as the studio owner and sound engineer sadly passed away and the mixing was never completed.

Solace took a sabbatical for just over a year and reformed in July 2022 with the band’s 2020 drummer, the amazing Sean Schofield making a return and a new bass player in the form of the incredible Shaun Lomax joining long-time Solace electric guitarist Paul Drury and sublime singer/songwriter Simon Dobbs on acoustic guitar.

The guys headed to Empire Sound on the Isle of Wight and completely re-recorded and re-imagined the 5 songs from the previously recorded EP along with 7 others to form the album that has been called ‘This is now’ and is due for release in November 2022.

Although the album has songs ranging from the very first works of Solace to absolutely up to date new tracks, the album represents the band currently, hence the title.

Each song tells a story and takes the listener on an introspective, relaxing, and thought-provoking journey that will not only stir the soul but also calm the spirit.

Solace are looking forward to the future with more music to come and hope to take many fans on their journey with them.

Dynamic rock duo from Halifax, United Kingdom. How the White Stripes might sound if they came from Yorkshire, drank craft ales and listened to Led Zeppelin.

Championed by the likes of BBC Introducing and Planet Rock, the Hazy Janes combine the energy and electricity of ‘60s rock with the groove and attitude of blues legends like Freddie King. Combining open and honest song-writing with feisty melodies, the Hazy Janes take listeners on a journey from moments of delicate vulnerability to high-octane rock ‘n’ roll.

The Hazy Janes first developed their sound by exchanging voice notes during the COVID-19 lockdown. Since then, the duo have performed relentlessly across the UK, releasing music through Hull-based label, Fast and Bulbous, linked to the legendary New Adelphi Club. Whilst based in Yorkshire, the band have carved out growing followings in areas including Sheffield, Hull, Manchester and London, where they recently supported Nashville blues-rock trailblazers, The Cold Stares.

Spring 2022 saw the duo release their debut EP, It’s Been a Pleasure, which received airtime from their local BBC Introducing station, and who invited the band to play an exclusive live session. The band also promoted the EP during a 13-date UK tour, performing everywhere from Newport and Brighton, to Middlesbrough and York.
