Line Up

Cardboard are a rock band straight out of London. Cardboard means to be artificial or lacking realism, but we're the exact opposite. We're gonna keep the energy high and show you what London is all about.

Meet Sonic Daze, a young, fresh music duo from West London.

Sonic Daze is fronted by BRIT School students, rapper Archie Elliot and singer Rosie Trentham, who both write and produce their work. Their set includes jazz influenced British hip-hop originals accompanied with either a live band or Ableton push. Rosie's ethereal vocals blended with Archie's introspective lyricism create an individualistic sound, reminiscent of the 90s.

Sonic Daze perform at venues & festivals around London, including sold out shows at The Fiddler in Kilburn, The Hoxton Underbelly and The Exchange, Twickenham. Other venues include Notting Hill Arts Club, Amersham Arms and Stanley Arts Hall.

Following their debut single ‘Don’t Rile the Young’, they are working on a larger project, as well as singles to be released over the next year.

“An amazing talent” Tom Robinson BBC Radio 6

"A way with words that is so vanishingly rare in music.. The best piece of modern folk I've heard in a while" York Calling

"Engaging melodies and smart lyrics" Americana UK

“Absolutely Lovely” Frank Turner

Morning Crush have had a busy month, with 2 Frank Turner support slots, a Banquet Records instore and a tour with The Nick Alexander Music Trust and Xtra Mile Recordings. Relatively new to the 2020 alternative folk scene, Morning Crush began releasing singles in November 2020 and after playing their first full band gig at the Camden Roundhouse (Nick Alexander stage) at Lost Evenings festival and selling out their first ever London Headline show at Aces and Eights weeks in advance, they released a surprise new single Stories Of War. A 5 minute long personal, powerful and pertinent story of war, generational trauma, Ukraine and peace.

Drawing influences from the obvious greats, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Roy Harper, Tim Ostrowsky-Thomas began busking on high streets at 14 and sneaking into open mics under-age. A songwriter with a conscience unafraid to speak his mind, throughout his career-to-date, he has used his music to speak-out about mental health issues and social unrest. Commitment to the cause, in 2015 he busked for 24 hours straight to raise money for Syria relief, and in 2017 for the mental health charity CALM. Although Ostrowsky-Thomas only adopted the moniker Morning Crush in 2020, he had already received BBC Radio 6 airplay and had been featured on Channel 4 news as a solo artist. Developing a small but dedicated fanbase over the years, Ostrowsky-Thomas has also toured with and supported the likes of: Billy Ocean, Will Varley, Billy Bragg, Frank Turner, Art Brut, Tom Grennan, Grace Petrie, and Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly.

Originating from rural Ireland, Seán Finn is a multi-instrumental songwriter, grounded in pop and jazz. With a few years of songwriting under his belt, Seán’s homespun style provides a warm and inviting soundscape for his listeners.

Seán is currently working together with sound engineer Jack Roulston on a project titled ‘Pencil In Regret’. The project consists of 10 songs that were written before and during the pandemic.

Singer/songwriter; Jon McLeod blends a variation of indie, folk & blues, then adds a personal twist to the genres, creating his own alternative style with a calmly compelling vocal delivery and distinctive guitar playing.

He’s been writing, recording and performing in different projects over the last 12 years and in the past has received airplay on BBC radio stations from Steve Lamacq, Huw Stephens and Tom Robinson, while playing under the pseudonym: The Focussed Distraction. But for now has settled on using his real name to develop his own acoustic trademark.

His singles; "Fuck Up" and "The Cavalry Comes," were released in May 2020, while his 5 song; "Dream... You're Awake," EP was released on 24th July 2020.

The beginning of 2021 saw "The Valuable Single" released on January 8th. Since then he’s been working towards a collection of songs based around observations and emotional responses to occurrences in the current social climate.

Latest single release; “Jesus Is My Vaccine,”(a song written about Trump supporters, evangelical “bible belt” preachers banishing COVID through your TV screen and a story read during early lockdown about a south London church busted by Trading Standards for selling COVID protection potion... aptly named: “divine cleansing oil), is a taster of things to come.
