Gurtwyrm are a post-punk/ shoegaze three piece hailing from Somerset and operating in London. They've come to bring the fuzz and make wyrms gurt again
This piano led indie rock/pop initiative utilizes soaring melodies, intricate rhythms, faith fueled lyrics and bucket loads of energy to create a sonic experience that hits hard. With their debut EP currently in the works and set to be released early this year, Earl Gray Collective is out to make a their mark in 2019.
Recently described by Spill Magazine as 'perhaps the greatest undiscovered talent today', Henry Bateman’s music falls somewhere between the worlds of ambient, progressive rock and folk musics; somewhere between Peter Gabriel, Neil Finn and James Taylor, with a virtuoso acoustic guitar style reminiscent of the likes of Nick Drake and Michael Hedges. He’s doing his own thing; at the age of just 22, he's just released his third solo album ‘Hide & Seek’ to high critical acclaim. In 2018, Henry graduated from the UK’s largest and most burgeoning music conservatoire, Leeds College of Music, with a First Class Honours Degree in Popular Music Composition. It was here he was also awarded the Conservatoire Prize for Popular Music in 2017, and for Songwriting in 2018.

At the age of 16, Shannon got a head start in the music scene performing as one half of the Pretoria- based acoustic duo, Syrens. The girls went on to share stages with acts like The Awakening, Matthew van der Want and Chris Letcher, Kaolin Thomson and Anika between 1996 and 2002.
In 2003 Shannon went to Europe where she tested the waters in London, busked the chilly streets of Galway, Ireland and spent two summers performing for the revellers on the picturesque Greek island of Ios.
After returning in 2006, Shannon has immersed herself in the Durban music scene, playing regularly at venues in and around the city. Known for her distinctive, warm voice, Shannon spent the next10 years performing in the province of KwaZulu-Natal to enthusiastic crowds at some of the region’s biggest and most well-loved music venues as well as its two largest music festivals - White Mountain and Splashy Fen.
Her original material blends blues, folk and country sounds with Shannon's sometimes quirky insights into life and the South African experience, while her cover performances demonstrate her broad vocal and genre range.
Shannon released her debut EP, entitled "Little Seed" in early 2009, teaming up with Jerome Govender on bass and her sister Siobhan Connolly on backing vocals to create some unforgettable harmonies. In 2011, she teamed up with John Ellis from Tree63 to create 3 full band singles which were released online.
In June 2018, Shannon moved to London to pursue adventures in music, travel and writing with a view of developing her songwriting and collaborating with new artists in new genres.
