Stones-y swagger and rowdy, eclectic futurism.
These words best describe singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Hani. His debut album The Polar Route is a testament to his alternative rock roots, featuring an explosive and emotional mix of lyrically driven songs.
After years of anonymity in London, Hani relocated to China in 2014 and became a veteran of the burgeoning music scene of Shanghai. Three years of parties, gigs, and tours ensued, with countless songs written among innumerable bands and projects. Owing much of his musical inspiration to these experiences, The Polar Route furthers the creative fever found abroad for new audiences.
Born in the wilderness of New York City, raised in the quiet tranquillity of rural England and made on the streets of West London, Jennings Couch is an artist who embodies the virtues of his environments. Since writing his first songs at the tender age of seven, he has gone on to craft a unique - and eccentric - pop voice. It is this distinctive voice that got Jennings to SXSW 2017, gaining the attention of a wider global audience with shows at The Apple Music House and the BBC British Music Embassy.
Whether the result of his influences, travels or tendency towards the obtuse, one thing is clear; in an era of copycat faux-musicality, Jennings Couch is a refreshingly unique proposition
Rotem is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist from Tel Aviv. She moved to London in 2016 and has already performed at Oxjam's music festival and numerous well-known venues.
Rotem captured the attention of the successful Israeli producer Roby Fayer (Composer of the Assassin's Creed Trailer soundtrack "Ready to fight") and so they began collaborating and have released “Safety land”.
At 20 years old, Tom Baird has been writing and gigging for nearly half his life now. His songs reflect a bold melting pot of imagery and influences, combining silky, smokey Jazz and Neo Soul with folk-ish tendencies and weirder experimental projects like Jon Hassell and early Frusciante. Growing up in a musical family with creativity being a top priority, he spent his time zig-zagging between London and the South Coast. Having honed his stage-craft through more live performances than he can count, he gives his all for every melody and chord, word written and note played into his audience. With a debut EP on the way, this is a unique young artist you don’t want to miss out on.
