Sir & the Ivanoe
Born in 1990, at the age of 7 he came across his first instrument: the piano. He fell in love with it straightaway and it became a faithful fellow to play and express himself with.
Within the years, it started to be enourmously useful as a great support in his songwriting process. He embraced his first Fender guitar at 15 and along with it first bands came out of the ground, new perspectives, great experiences alla cross Northern Italy and Switzerland.
In 2011 all the band experiences slowly started to fade away: it was time to musically grow up and going a little deeper and put under the spotlight his songwriter side.
His solo project then begun.
Graduated in June’16 at the British & Irish Modern Music (BIMM) Institute in London, he travels back and forth from Italy (his original country) to the UK, playing as many live shows as he can.
He is known as leader and songwriter of the Moscow band Blast (Blast Unit Moscow) in the period 1996 to 2013. Blast was one of the brightest, most successful, unique alternative bands of the Russian rock-n-roll scene. NME called them «the godfathers of the Russian alternative scene». The most successful album of Blast was produced my Martin «Youth» Glover in 2013 and released in 2014. It received a lot of attention from the UK & European music industry. Singles from the album have been played on many radio shows including Pete Mitchell, Janice Long, Gary Crowley etc.
In early 2014 Nash took the decision to concentrate on his solo career. At a night hosted by Alan McGee in Liverpool he met Ian McNabb from The Icicle Works. Nash and Ian hit it off immediately. They met to jam and Nash played Ian some of his most recent demos. Ian suggested Nash return to Liverpool to record a solo album, which he would co-produce. Nash returned to Moscow and undertook an intensive month of songwriting to provide sufficient material for the album. Unrestrained by the need to write for the band, the songs are more personal & intimate, and have a simpler more acoustic feel than the post-industrial punk style of Blast. In July 2014 Nash travelled to Liverpool and recorded 9 tracks at Bold Management Studios, co-produced by Ian McNabb and Ciaron Bell.
Imogen Hoyle is a Singer/Songwriter and pianist from West Yorkshire, based in Manchester. Imogen combines ambient instrumentation with haunting melodies and engaging lyrics. The blend of soulful vocals with atmospheric instrumentation captures the audience and tells a story. Her most recent single 'Shadow' made it into the I-Tunes Singer/Songwriter charts and is available on VEVO, Spotify and I-Tunes and the first of three staggered single releases begins in November with 'Hollows' being the first track to be released.
Reading based indie-pop duo, Ciircus Street, are firmly putting their stamp on the current world of popular music. Consisting of Sam Brett (vocals/ guitar) and Jim Crowder (vocals/ keyboard), the duo was formed one night in Oxford after walking past the city’s ‘Circus Street’. Both the boys agreed it would make a good band name, but it wasn’t until later that night when they attended a gig and knocked back a few drinks, that the pair decided to form a duo.
Whilst Sam and Jim list notable artists such as James Morrison, Jack Johnson and Ed Sheeran as their inspirations, when it comes to writing music, the pair admit that they are in fact influenced significantly by each other. Consequently, it is clear to see the chemistry between the two which bounces off each other, forming Ciircus Street’s individual sound. Think attitude-filled, acoustic guitar mixed with perfectly harmonising vocals - uniquely described in the past as a mixture of ‘salt and honey’, displaying the contrasting, yet compatible nature of their voices.
SARA STRUDWICK has been performing since she picked up the mic aged 13, and has been on stages big and small at both public and private events.
Sara has been a support act for names such as The Vamps, James Arthur, Jess Glynn, and Sir Tom Jones, in her home island Jersey.
Since moving to London last year, aged 17, Sara has been working with writer producer Tim Arnold and was introduced in London’s Soho, as The Reservations ‘Emerging Artist 2017’. At this event, New York’s Blake Morgan was quoted as saying that Sara was, “already an artist who is truly unique.”
At the beginning of 2017 Sara put together a backing band who go under the name of HIGHGROUND. In March Sara the band were asked to perform as part of a showcase at London’s Bush Hall and have since gone on to be included in the line up for events such as Burtonfest, Burton upon Trent and Septemberfest at Donnington Park.
Sara with her band write and perform their own original material as well as performing unusual covers with sharp dynamics led by strong vocals from Sara.
