From a factory in a seaside town, LONGY has gutted out the closet and pulled all the skeletons to the forefront, daring you to not only take a look at yourself in the mirror, but to also ask just who it is that's staring back at you.
LONGY has often played cat and mouse with the press and is now showing the raw and brutal example of living by the sword at whatever cost for a dream. As you can see daily on social networks, he is completing 500 shows in one year, and with 200 shows played in the last 5 months, there’s never been a better time or a better example of anyone showing you what hard work is really all about.
With a self proclaimed genre of music called ‘Gospel Trash’, the release of a new single ‘Primark Hospital Blues’ from the new EP ‘The iLLUSIONIST’, it’s fit to say he feels a truth has been lost in a phone-hand cuffed culture. LONGY is back to remind us of the human aspect of actually being alive and the need to be genuine when connecting with each other.
Davey James is an acoustic Rock & Roll, Blues, Folk musician. He has toured the UK on two occasions and has resident weekend slots at The Blues Kitchen, Aces & Eights Saloon Bar and The Perkins Pubs group here in London.
Davey is a prolific songwriter and an acclaimed performer. After years of experience performing in almost every dive/ cocktail bar and pub that plays live music in London, he has built up a heavy catalog of original material as well as covers.
Last summer, after selling out Aces & Eights Saloon Bar, he set off for a USA tour, playing major cities such as Nashville TN and New York City. He has also been invited to play Citadel Festival, Secret Garden Party, Field View and Red Rooster Festival here in the UK.
In the past few years he has been invited to record a demo at Universal Publishing and has professionally recorded in Strongroom Studios.
New all-girl Brit rock-pop group, The Flicks, hail from Sheffield, Essex and North London. Three best friends, their gutsy ballsy attitude is echoed in their music with great songs to match, writing all their own material. Sensational vocals, and each playing instruments; guitar, bass and drums, this sets them apart from all other girl bands out there. Inspired by the likes of The Runaways, early Bangles, The Go-Go's and the Buzzcocks. The girls have a publishing deal with BMG and are set for great things.
Black Orkhid are an alt-rock 3 piece that the Wandsworth Herald Post called "The most dangerous band in SW London!"
Running With Wolves
Running With Wolves; a female fronted rock band from London that play hard and fast rock tunes with plenty of groove and vibe. They have just released their latest single, War Machine.
They have recorded some new material in heavy, gritty stereo with producer Phil Humphreys (Buffalo Summer). Single #1, What To Believe was released in March with their first music video.
They are taking their hefty and heady show out on the road in the next few months to support the single, and we’re heading back to the studio later this year to wrap up an EP of signature sonic blend.
