Alex is a contemporary North East singer songwriter who pens acoustic pop songs with sing-along choruses and foot-tapping percussive strumming. He recently supported Swim Deep on their UK tour, and his influences include John Mayer, Ben Howard and The 1975.

"Kites is both soothing and emotional, while providing a message that is open for listeners to establish their own interpretation" Dylan JK Vogt, Beat100 March 2013
"'Kites' is a feel good, vibrant slice of summer pop which gets your toes tapping and puts a smile on your face" Alex Burgess, Spark FM, Feb 2013
"Alex is giving people something unique that people will enjoy. He is representing his area very well and deserves every success." Martin Dunn, North East Press, Jan 2013
“The man is just so damn talented!” Blue Magazine, March 2013
Rahul has been steadily carving his mark as a singer-songwriter and pianist since 2014, when he released his debut EP "Night Stories" which featured on the BBC Asian Network.
Influenced by a classic style of songwriting that harks back to the piano-driven music of Billy Joel and Elton John, Rahul blends heartfelt lyrics and catchy hooks with rock, pop and soul sensibilities.
An experienced performer, he has played at venues across Singapore, including Hard Rock Cafe, The Esplanade and Marina Bay Sands, and India, where he won the biggest singing competition in the city of Pune in 2016.
Currently at work on his sophomore effort titled “Ready to Breathe”, the EP is a collection of songs about rediscovery, friendship and coming of age.
Ciarán Dwyer is fresh off the Boat.
Leaving his Hometown in Horse Country, Ireland, Dwyer now calls London home and very much like Dick Whittington's Cat, He came searching for streets paved with Gold.
Finding Streets paved with a very similar type of Hard Grey Concrete as Home, He has accepted a life of Wandering those Streets with a Guitar and a wealth of Tall Tales and Songs, Singing for anyone who will listen.
Horse Country refers to County Kildare, that sits uncomfortably close to its Mortal Enemy in Football, Dublin.
Kildare is a Horse Racing Stronghold, but its also a land of Storytellers, Drinkers, Japesters, Madmen, Madwomen and Musicians. Our Hero Fits right in.
"Our Hero" is definitely used with tongue in cheek to describe this Songwriter. It's a strange one who would hold him as their Hero, Anti Hero perhaps, In the Vein of J.P Donleaveys Wild Character from Gingerman, Sebastian Dangerfield.
Musically, Dwyer sits on the County Line between Folk and Country, Holding Conor Oberst, Ryan Adams, Brian Brannigan and Kris Kristofferson as Songwriting Heroes.
In Ireland, Our Hero left behind a Great Gang of Americana peddling Reprobates called "Knoxville Morning" with whom he recorded one excellent self titled album and toured relentlessly til the wheels fell off last year. Here you will find most of Our Hero's backstory. Dwyer is currently working on his first self titled solo album, set for release in November on Atlanta's OCDC Records.
"One man armed with a guitar and a bunch of beats, he’s got a very fine handle on how to turn both parts of his musical personality into a bundle of captivating, occasionally giddy and always impressive leftfield pop gems.'' - Jim Carroll, The Irish Times
Video Blue is a project by Jim O'Donoghue Martin.
Embracing ambient electronica and guitar driven alt-pop, all of the music is recorded in his east London bedroom. 2015 has seen the release of 2 EP's; 'More Pop Troubles' (released on cassette via US indie Wiener Records) and September's 'Simmer'.
Summer 2016 saw the release of the 'Disco Nap' single, which was released on 7'' vinyl and available in stores such as London's Rough Trade and Dublin's Tower Records.
Red Tape Riot
Red Tape Riot is a five piece Indie band formed at the beginning of 2012. The official launch was in July 2012.
Red Tape Riot produces music with a cutting contrast between heartfelt melodies and strong party grooves. Influenced by the Post-Punk sounds of the 80’s, modern Indie Rock, Brit Pop, Drum n’ Bass and Electro dance scenes, the result is a highly danceable and catchy sound.
Red Tape Riot’s first two singles ‘Love Is a Feeling’ and 'Been Here Before' made an impact on radio stations across the country, as have the new tracks 'Wide Awake' and 'Dreams' . Their debut album 'Almost Yesterday' was released in November 2014 and they are set to play some major events and festivals in the coming months, having just completed a successful East Coast tour. Energy levels are high and we can expect big things from this group in 2015.
On the horizon the band has plans for a national tour, a second album, extensive radio appearances and ultimately a European tour.
