Afterglow returns the first Thursday of every month.
Leisure Tank is a London based PowerDuo. K.C. McKanzie on electric guitar/vocals and Budi on drums.
Their song “Isabella”, a swirling rock tune full of jealousy and obsession was chosen by “FreshOnTheNet” as a favourite and described as “gripping indie rock at its best” as well as being compared to PJ Harvey’s “Rid of Me”.
“hiddentracks.com ” has some nice words: “The duo lay down a progressively energetic set. They bounce between loudly powerful and quietly intimate almost effortlessly, bringing to mind the ever influential Leslie Feist in the process”.
The duo has been praised for their danceable rhythms combined with K.C.’s strong vocals and the duo’s love for unpredictable song structures and endings. Leisure Tank’s minimalistic approach is refreshing in times of an overflow of stage gadgets, laptops and effects.
"Leisure Tank have given us a reminder of what music is all about" - 10/10 album review - INFRARED MAGAZINE

From The Cave
From The Cave is a London based independent rock band. During early 2015, in Fulham London, 5 members with 5 different nationalities, UK, SWE, DEN, ESP and LVA, formed the band From The Cave. With the different backgrounds they created a unique style and sound. Their first self titled EP From The Cave (2016) demonstrates a broad sound that creates a interesting and storytelling experience.
Recently the band shared a music video for their single "Same Game" (February 2017). It was filmed and directed by a Spanish film crew alongside the band, and it featured the American singer Dezmond Meeks as the lead role. The music video has already reached 13K+ views.
Over the past two years they have played countless gigs together in London, and a release gig in Copenhagen (Denmark) that was attended by over 150 people. Among the gigs there's been several headline slots at venues such as The Islington, Surya, The Troubadour, Dublin Castle and festival features such as Brownstock Festival (in Essex, UK). Last year (April 2016) they released their debut EP which gained radio-play in the UK, the US, Peru, Netherlands and Spain.
In March 2017, From The Cave in collaboration with Cancer Research UK and Rock Mot Cancer (Sweden), hosted a successful music event together with 3 other acts, Dani Hart, Carl Olander and Fuzzwalker. With a successful promotion they managed to pack the venue and raise several hundred pounds for cancer research both in Sweden and in the UK. The event Music Without Borders had an international theme, with collaboration between a British and Swedish charity and performances from bands, who's collective members represented more than 10 nationalities. As a follow-up to international theme of the the event From The Cave released their second single of 2017 Another Kind Of World.
The band is currently in the middle of recording their next EP, which will be released before the summer this year. From The Cave is an unsigned act, and all music is self-funded, self-produced, and self-released.
With a songwriting body hailing from England to Scandinavia, Vestiges conjure up an Americana feel that nods itself towards Townes Van Zandt whilst infusing the visceral melodies of Big Star and The Beach Boys.
Playing with precise and cinematic arrangements, the classic trifecta of guitar pop - melody, harmony and simplicity - are brought together to meet their directives in the best possible fashion. Embellishment is minimal, and gratuity is neglected in favour of a cohesive whole where every note and flourish complements one another. Songwriting for Vestiges is a shared effort built from a natural and shared direction. 'Laid-back guitars and barely there drums set the breezy tone for ‘Woman’, the South West Londoner’s debut single. But despite being an introduction to the three-piece it evokes the quality and confidence of a seasoned band. Long may their journey continue.' - NME
Five piece Lofi-indie Psychedelic Faze rock.
Based in London, but coming from the countryside ToMacco was formed in early 2016 after two friends Benjamin Reeve (Guitar/Vocals) and Alex Bishop (Guitar) attended their second King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard gig. Being blown away and incredibly inspired they enlisted the help of Nick Oakes (Drums), Mathew West (Synthesisers) and Sam Mitchell (Bass) and began crafting a unique blend of psychedelic guitar riffs, chord progressions in open tunings and catchy synth hooks.
